Dear Mr. Haruni,

Thank you for the quotation, documents, and discussion.

Before we proceed, I want to confirm the scope. Our situation differs from a standard provisional drafting engagement. We already have 8 complete Form 2 provisional specifications with drawings. We are not seeking a short-form provisional, abstract-only provisional, or IDF-based drafting exercise.

The specifications must be filed exactly as finally approved by us. They should not be condensed, rewritten, converted into a short-form provisional, or replaced with IPflair's standard provisional format unless we approve the exact changes in writing.

**On commercials:** your quotation was prepared for a single application with drafting included. Our engagement is materially different in both directions — the drafting effort is removed entirely, and the volume is eight applications now, with complete specifications and prosecution across the same families to follow for the firm that performs well. We would therefore expect portfolio-level pricing that reflects filing-only effort, not the standard per-application drafting rates, and we are evaluating more than one firm on this basis. IPflair positions itself as the most cost-effective IP firm in India — we'd like to see that reflected in the revised quote.

We are looking to proceed in stages:

**Stage 1 — Paid technical review of 2 applications.** A written review of the principal inventive concept, draft claim direction, technical-effect framing, Section 3(k) risk, and mapping against one prior-art reference that we will identify after NDA execution. Stage 1 also includes an independent novelty search on the two designated families, with the search strategy, databases used, and results documented in writing. Please provide a fixed-fee quote for this limited review and search.

**Stage 2 — Filing as agent of record for 8 applications, subject to Stage 1.** E-filing of all 8 already-drafted Form 2 specifications and drawings, with Form 1 / Form 26 support and filing receipts. Please quote your filing-only fee per application for pre-drafted specifications.

**Stage 3 — Complete specifications.** The complete-specification and prosecution engagement across all 8 families will be awarded after Stages 1–2, based on quality and commercials. Please indicate your portfolio rate for complete specifications at this volume, against your quoted single-application rate.

On the documents:

**NDA** — attached is the NDA with our proposed edits marked in blue underline, with a summary page for ease of review. These are standard protections for a client disclosing pre-drafted patent specifications and technical materials. We are ready to sign once the revised version is accepted.

**SOW** — also attached is a short Statement of Work reflecting the staged scope above, including filing authority, fee controls, and access restrictions. Both documents together govern the engagement.

**IDF** — we will not complete a separate Invention Disclosure Form. The approved Form 2 specifications and drawings will be the operative disclosure documents. If you believe an IDF is legally required, please identify the specific basis.

Please confirm the following:

1. Can IPflair file already-drafted Form 2 provisional specifications as-is, without converting them into your standard short-form provisional?
2. What is your filing-only fee per application for pre-drafted specifications, at eight-application volume?
3. What is the earliest committed date by which you can file all 8 applications after NDA execution and our written approval of the final filing package?
4. Who will personally review the specifications? Please share the reviewing patent agent's name and IN/PA registration number.
5. Has IPflair completed a conflict check, and can you confirm there is no conflict in representing us for these filings?
6. Could you share 2–3 examples of granted Indian software / AI / CRI patents your team drafted or prosecuted, preferably with publication or patent numbers?
7. Could you share one suitably redacted FER response involving a Section 3(k) objection?
8. What exactly does the ₹30,000 disbursement cover? Please itemize it — we will not approve lump-sum disbursements.
9. Please confirm official government fees, excess page charges, drawing/page treatment, and any professional handling charges in writing, per application.
10. Please confirm our materials will not be used for training, templates, knowledge bases, marketing, or for any other client.
11. Please confirm our materials will not be uploaded into any public AI tool, third-party AI system, translation tool, document automation system, external cloud repository, or other non-approved system.
12. Please confirm our materials will not be shared with subcontractors, foreign counsel, external consultants, or non-India reviewers without our prior written approval.
13. Please confirm all employees, consultants, or approved representatives who access our files are bound by written confidentiality obligations.
14. Please confirm that no application, form, amendment, correction, request, or Patent Office communication will be filed unless we have approved the exact final filing package in writing.

Given our filing timeline, please respond first on points 1, 2, 3, and 5 with your revised commercials. If the scope and pricing work, we can sign the NDA and start Stage 1 immediately.

Best regards,
